Cultural Significance : It’s a groundbreaking use of large-scale, site-specific sculptures that challenged conventional gallery spaces. Serra's work featured massive steel plates arranged in dynamic, labyrinthine configurations, creating immersive environments that invited viewers to experience the art physically and spatially. The exhibit was notable for its exploration of scale and materiality, using heavy industrial materials to create forms that interacted with the viewer's movement and perspective. Serra’s approach emphasized the relationship between the artwork and its setting, transforming the museum space into a sculptural experience.

Personal Rating : 7/10, cool piece of art. Haven’t seen them in person, but based on the scale it seems like they would be an interesting piece of art to interact with in person. Not sure if there’s much more else to it other than that.
