His shattered glass paintings, inspired by a personal car accident, and Safesculptures, reflecting societal paranoia about security, are significant for their powerful commentary on the ripple effects of human action and the complex relationship between individuals and authority in modern society. He’s even had work seized by officials claiming his work is not art.
