Design: The Taichung Metropolitan Opera House, designed by Toyo Ito, features a fluid, organic architectural form inspired by the concept of a "Sound Cave." The building's design incorporates undulating curves and complex geometries, creating an interior and exterior that flows seamlessly. The Opera House's walls are made up of a unique free-form grid shell, blending seamlessly into the floors and ceilings, resulting in a continuous, cavernous space that emphasizes acoustics and fluid movement.
